The trick is that four of the classes are in a CLA45.

lol $1,895.00 looks like the price for some forged wheels or something.

Yeah, it’s oddly specific. Wonder what most of the cost is associated with. Insurance or “that tax you pay whenever you get anything AMG related”

It’s gotta be like 70% insurance right?

From FAQ:
Regardless of the program level, you’ll have the opportunity to drive several cars in the current Mercedes-AMG line-up including:
AMG GT S
AMG SL63
AMG CLS63 S-MODEL 4MATIC
AMG E63
AMG C63 S
AMG CLA45
Note: The AMG Driving Academy fleet may vary slightly at actual time of event.
So yeah, probably the CLA45 90% of the time.

Maybe this is something you can look into? I looked into BMW, Porsche and AMG when I wanted to go for a driving experience. Audi has the cheapest and most variety of “affordable” driving experiences that I know of.
https://simracewaydrivingschool.com/programs-experiences/audi-sportscar-experience/
Join Audi Club of North America for ~ $50 a year and it gives you like 10% or 20% off these experiences.
After 6 months of membership, you get a flat 6% off MRSP for all Audi cars (except R ones) - new and CPO
(look into the ACNA website, maybe its different now)
I went for the 1 day Audi Sport experience in 2013, which came to a smidge over $1000 (after ACNA discount). I got to drive the TTS, S4, S5, and RS5 on Sonoma Raceway.
It. was. Amazing :)
